Jaynee Poulson
Consultant Coach and Trainer

Dr. Jayne Poulson is a Consultant, Coach and Trainer with Authentic Strengths Advantage®. Advocating for students is more than a volunteer position for Jaynee; it has become her life’s work and passion. Professionally, Jaynee has been a k-12 comprehensive guidance counselor, mental health counselor, public speaker and admissions program director. To date, Jaynee has worked with over 30,000 students and parents whether it be through her own startup businesses or national organizations.

Jaynee serves as the State Health Commissioner for the Utah PTA. She has also served on the state commission as the individual development director and has held numerous board positions within the PTA/PTSA programs including serving as local president multiple times.

Jaynee is a professor at Weber State University teaching in the Women and Gender Studies department and the faculty advisor of the Feminist United Network. Jaynee is the developmental director for Ivy Girl Academies and trains nationally on the “Mean Girl Make-Over” program.

Jaynee holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Mental Health and Educational Counseling and Women’s Studies. She has studied Executive Leadership at Cornell University, Johnson Graduate School of Management.

Jaynee was the Cliché Mom and PR Director of Cliché Magazine, an online fashion magazine, where she wrote a frequent column discussing the convergence of style, relationships and motherhood, and often blogged about fashion, popular culture and all things competitive!

Jaynee founded the company Learn For Life, which provides a variety of counseling and consulting services, including educational staff training, curriculum development, educational consulting, and individual and family counseling. She has given presentations to faith communities, parents, school organizations, day care centers, local community volunteers and anyone who wishes to develop a better understanding of the asset building process.

Jaynee was the Director of Women’s Programs at Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah and is a Nationally Certified Professional Parent Trainer who facilitates support groups for parents. She also worked as the Eating Disorder Program Coordinator for Youth Eastside Services in Washington State, where she provided schools and community organizations with workshops, training seminars and presentations on prevention programs and eating disorder awareness nationally.

Jaynee lives in Farmington, Utah with her husband and their six kids where they enjoy each other’s company, reading and serving in their community.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
