Geralyn Hoxsey Sparough
Consultant and Trainer

An organizational facilitator, much of Geralyn’s professional life has been spent in the field of education – she has been a high school counselor, university administrator, and worked in elementary education. Through it all her interest in building the strengths of all kept her involved in social development organizations and free-lance consulting to widen her ability to positively impact the lives of others.

The youth mentoring work she and her husband have done with adolescent men is cited in Peter Block’s book “Community: the Structure of Belonging.” Along with her husband and parents, Geralyn was a co-producer of the film “The Last Shot” which developed out of this youth mentoring program.

Geralyn received her training in Appreciative Inquiry and is a long time Associate Consultant with Relationship Resources, LLC. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of the National Storytelling Network and Storytelling in Organizations. A long-time storyteller she has told in venues such as Teilin, TrueTheater and OOPS conferences.

In addition to her fiber arts habit, Geralyn is an avid reader, and traveler. She lives in Cincinnati with Tom, her husband of 30 years and counting, and is the mother of two adult children and one son-in-love.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
