As an Information and Communications Consultant for Authentic Strengths Advantage, Allyson Lyle infuses her passion for leveraging human strengths into communicating the ASA mission and services through their written materials. Allyson believes that every person has infinite worth and wants to help people realize their innate potential, personally and professionally. Her passion is for helping people who have special challenges in their lives – military families, prison inmates and at-risk youth.

Allyson has worked as a webmaster and editor for a national software company where she oversaw all written communications. She created the company’s web presence, marketing and training materials, as well as writing for industry journals.

Allyson taught the Community of Caring Character Building program in high schools. She also taught youth and women’s groups in a global non-profit organization for over two decades, and served as director of a volunteer program to teach English to the Hispanic community.

Allyson holds a BA degree in English Literature from St. Mary’s College where she won the American Association of University Women Award. She also ran the writing workshop for foreign students at St. Mary’s College.

Allyson revels in her health after surviving cancer, so she takes joy in hiking, biking and kayaking in the Rocky Mountains with her husband and three sons. Whenever she can sneak away to the ocean she loves scuba diving and sailing. She has sailed everywhere from Corsica to Bali and once crossed the Baltic Sea in a harrowing gale.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
